Lawyer Mark Geragos is probably grinning from ear to ear.
Chris Brown showed up to the Van Nuys jail for the hit & run case yesterday afternoon, which happened to be a day earlier then he was supposed to.
He was booked and released on his own recognizance. The ordeal only took about 45 minutes.
Chris was then spotted at a night club later that night, and tweeted the following this morning:
"Being famous is amazing when it's for your music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I'm cool & over it."
Glad to see he's over it....but he's still under probation for it, and has a criminal charge PENDING.
