Goodbye Seth McFarlane, Hello Ellen Degeneres: Ellen To Host 2014 Oscars!!!!!

This is pretty big news!!

Last years host of the Oscars, Seth McFarlane, is officially NOT coming back because it has just been announced that Ellen Degeneres will be hosting!!

The funny lady and daytime host tweeted the news herself minutes ago:

“It’s official: I’m hosting the #Oscars!” DeGeneres tweeted on Friday morning, which was promptly retweeted by the The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. “I’d like to thank @TheAcademy, my wife Portia and, oh dear, there goes the orchestra.”

Ellen previously hosted movie's biggest night back in 2007.
