UPDATE #3:
Amanda is currently still on the 72 hour hold, and press spoke with the woman who's driveway the first started on. She had no idea who Amanda was or WHY this even happened.
TMZ has just updated with new photos of Amanda.
The above photos were taken mere HOURS before the hospitalization. Gives you an idea as to what she may have looked like.
There are also pics of the driveway, where the fire was started.
Good Lord, I hope the 5150 hold works....

The following story is JUST beginning to circulate the net.
Amanda Bynes was hospitalized late Monday night after reportedly starting a small fire in a driveway of someone's home.
Cops and firefighters were called to the scene and found Amanda standing near the fire. When asked why she was there, Amanda's answers led authorities to believe she needed to be hospitalized and placed on the psychiatric hold.
Amanda can only be held for 72 hours.
